Old Words, New Design is a design book features “HUA! New Huaren Design Movement” started by young Taiwanese designer Sharon Y. Yu. By introducing Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, the fundamental ancient philosophies of Huaren (ethnic Chinese) culture, into a new set of design principles for young Huaren designers, Yu aims to change the shallow visual landscape of Huaren design.
